As part of the marketing activities, Mandom needs to keep its online presence refreshed and up-to-date. Therefore, Mandom decided to redesign its web site look and feel to suit the marketing needs. It is important to make visitor navigate and browse easily throughout the website to find useful and informative knowledge about Mandom's company profile and product catalogue. As mostly information needed is the products section, we put more touch on this one.
Since Mandom's targeting market of hair care, skin care, perfumes, and deodorants, the design should reflect in more aesthatic aspect and lifestyle for the now generation without leaving the essence of company's identity. Menaravisi uses flash banner as an attractive part in main page which exposes the featured brands of Mandom. There is also an interactive flash animation in Your Look section where visitor can browse articles based on certain part of the animation.
With the new design, Mandom also decided to add more advanced features in its website, such as Career section, where visitor can apply directly by filling up the application form; Your Look section, where visitor can browse various tips and useful articles, and Investor Related section. The most advanced section in its website is its Product Catalogue. Each product category has its own template design based on their target market and their own brand. Mandom has a large range of product categories where each category also has its own sub navigation. This web site is aimed to reflect the corporate image while focusing on the simple yet informative dynamic products catalog for worldwide audience. That's why this website is available in bi-lingual (Indonesian and English) version.
To enable achieving the goal of the web site as a centralized product information and related information/services dissemination, this web site equipped with MDCM (Menaravisi Dynamic Content Management) Corporate edition customized on PHP and MySQL solution platform which empowers Mandom staff to easily manage and maintain their web site, without much technical expertise in the Internet.
