Having launched the great mall extension (MKG Phase III) positioned as food temptation and fashion mall, MKG decided to implement an appropriate Point of Sales system that can professionally cater the need in the food court sales counter as well as report management in the management office located in separate building.

• Develop POS System that suits MKG Food Court criteria as per user requirement meetings, which are :
  • Cashier can close its shift and get the total transaction report that is printed to be compared with its cash on hand. This will be attached to its report to accounting office.
  • Cancelled order need to be voided only my authorized officer.
  • Order Stroke (2-ply) should include header and footer which are editable by authorized officer in the back office.
  • Order sheets from each tenant will be printed with POS Order number and entered amount. These sheets should be returned back to tenant as their archive.
  • Export feature with certain format to enable integration with accounting system.
  • Special Event Discount. Discount is counted from order excluding tax.

• User Management that includes User Manager to add/edit/delete user, Group Manager to add/edit/delete/add member of user group and Group Privilege Manager to manage access right for each user group.
• Tenant Manager to add/edit/delete tenant and its profile (brand name, company name, person in charge, address, phone/fax/mail, tenant code)
• Product Manager to add/edit/delete tenant’s products (includes long product name, short product name, price (includes tax), and product code.
• System Setting Manager that allows administrator to edit/delete stroke header and footer, discount rate, tax rate etc.)

Implemented in the several computers servicing as sales counters at MKG III Food Court, sales cashiers serve their customers and in the end of their shift, they just need to close transaction and export the transaction data to disk and bring it to the back office to be imported and integrated back to the same system with reporting features. The system has also equiped with audit trail capability to track any changes made to the system
